Created by artists Aaron Landsman, Mallory Catlett and Jim Findlay, City Council Meeting (CCM) examines formal procedure to consider participation in public and civic life. Part performance, part experiment in civic engagement, CCM convenes a diversity of citizens to examine a local issue, and will invite the Keene community to actively engage in the performance as participants, either as a city council member, speaker, or bystander in the proceedings. CCM explores the poetry in bureaucracy, the architecture of power, and the comedy of procedure.
