Redfern Arts Center at Keene State College

Redfern Arts Center will present Sandglass Theater's Babylon on March 12, 2020. In Babylon five company members utilize puppets and moving panoramic scrolls to tell the stories of seven refugees (from Syria, El Salvador, Afghanistan and Burundi) in original four-part choral songs. Both the performance and engagement programs forefront intercultural experiences that invite listening, dialogue, and empathy. The project focuses on stories of perseverance and resilience, and brings the ensemble and various communities together to investigate what it means to be human.
