NAKA Dance Theater will participate in a two-week artist residency at Rosy Simas Danse’s two studios: three thirty one space and Studio 240. The residency will include collaborative workshops in partnership with Indigenous Roots, and culminate in one performance of the new work, “Y Basta Ya! (Enough!),” on May 10, 2023.

“Y Basta Ya! (Enough!)” centers the voices of Latina women and their experiences around labor rights, domestic violence, and sexual abuse. The project amplifies the power and healing in this community of women survivors.
