Rowan University’s College of Performing Arts is thrilled to welcome AXIS Dance Company for a multi-faceted engagement with the Glassboro, New Jersey community, as part of the 21|22 Marie Rader Presenting Series. Activities include a free virtual lecture-demonstration, part of Rowan’s Access and Inclusion Week, on October 29, on the topic of “Redefining Dance and Disability,” an in-person Master Class with Rowan Students on Friday, February 18, and a public performance on Saturday February 19 in Pfleeger Concert Hall, featuring a pre-show reception, and post-show Q&A with the company, and featuring Hold Fast, Roots Above Ground, and an exclusive film screening of Flutter, choreographed by POST: Ballet Artistic Director Robert Dekkers, and featuring audio description Gravity Access Services.
