Roxbury Community College's Media Arts Center is a supporting community partner of Castle of Our Skins, Night Songs, an evening of chamber songs using text from Black artists. Words by Sonia Sanchez, Cornelius Eady, Georgia Douglas Johnson, and Rickey Laurentiis are illuminated through world premiere performances by Ethan Frederick Greene, Liza White, and Boston area composers Samuel Beebe and Frank S. Li. Night Songs premiered at Roxbury Community College's Media Arts Center in March 2016. Castle of our Skins is a Creative City Grantee. To learn more about their project, click here.
