The purpose of the trip is a campus visit to Colorado College by Stories from Home Artistic Director with the goal of building relationships with the campus and local community prior to a Spring 2025 performance featuring the company. It will lay the groundwork for a transformative cultural exchange. Campus visit activities include: guest lecture in a convergence course with Dr. Sririam’s “Philosophies of the Body: Bodies and Power” and Dr. Roybal’s “Art, Power, & Resistance” combined classes and a choreographer’s talk during a luncheon with Dance Majors, Southwest Studies Majors, and SOMOS, a Latine student organization.
