The project is designed to build confidence among participants, allowing them to share life experiences with the community and have fun. Fifteen seniors from The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Center's Seniors Program will perform their life stories through a series of skits, directed by Valerie Stephens.
Rehearsals and training began on November 7. Three performances will take place at: the Kroc Center, Old South Meeting House, and the Haley House Cafe.
The performances will be open to the community and will be advertised through flyers and social media. Audience members will include friends, families, church groups, and members of the Kroc Center and other community organizations.
