San Francisco Performances

Batsheva, Israel’s premier contemporary dance company, under the artistic direction of Ohad Naharin, returns to SF Performances for a fifth time. Our commitment to Batsheva represents a key component of our dance program mission: to re-book internationally significant companies at strategic intervals so that they build a large following over time. Batsheva will perform Last Work, which had its world premiere in June 2015 in Tel-Aviv. As with many of Naharin’s works, this latest offering is open to interpretation, something that he openly encourages from the audience.
