"Burnt-Out Wife", a new dance-theater comedy created and performed by Sara Juli is about the decay and detritus of marriage. This work will have its World Premiere at SPACE in Portland, ME October 17-19, 2019. Following, Juli and her team of Maine-based collaborators will have a week-long production residency at Bates College in Lewiston, ME from December 9-13, 2019 to re-work several production elements of the show in preparation for Juli's Winter/Spring 2020 tour (and beyond). Objectives during the residency include: revising set pieces for more efficient touring, fireproofing set pieces, generating a technical writer and researching and purchasing shipping containers to tour.
