SHADE is a temporary, outdoor place to hang out, find friends, and make new ones in real life. SHADE is by teens, for teens - and everyone else. SHADE is comfy and cool in the heat of the summer. SHADE is embracing teen space to combat isolation and the decline of teen mental health. SHADE is public art in public parks for public health. Cambridge, MA-based teen Co-Directors Eli Goncalves, Matt Keane, and Samadhi Simmons guide SHADE, a recently established nonprofit. Now in our second season, SHADE is supported by adults Debbie Bonilla of Equity Roadmap, Amon Millner of Olin College of Engineering, Rob Trumbour and architecture students at Wentworth Institute of Technology, Levi Bedall of Pneuhaus Inflatable Art and Architecture, and Jeff Goldenson of buildingways.com, administrator of SHADE. We want to meet you! www.shade.city
