Sharona Color is working with local muralists and participating in the "Arte en el Campo" program at the Luis Cardoza y Aragon Popular Culture Center in Guatamala. While in Guatamala Sharona will also take an immersive Spanish course at Proyecto Lingüístico Quetzalteco de Español (PLQ). The program includes one-on-one instruction and homestays, allowing Sharona to improve my language skills and make my public art practice more inclusive for Spanish-speaking communities back at home in Massachusetts.
