Maine-based performance artist Sara Juli will develop a new work in 2018. Marriage (working title) will tackle the taboo topic of a struggling marriage. Sharing personal stories and inner thoughts of separation, sex deprivation, difficult conversations, Justin Bieber, ear plugs, tough love, deep love, long love, lawyers, marriage counselors, and the ultimate question: Do I stay or do I go? Juli's evening-length solo will use her signature methods of raw exposure and discovery through movement, text, song, audience interaction and humor, complete with free pre-show marriage counseling for interested audience members! This work will be created in 2018 and premiere at SPACE in 2019.
