Spiderwoman Theater

The Storyweaving Workshop project provides training to NYC based Indigenous theater artists, Indigenous university students in the performing arts, and community members, in the Indigenous performance practice of storyweaving. Instructors will come from the Spiderwoman Theater training ensemble and teach the foundational techniques that Spiderwoman uses to create their theater works. The workshop will culminate in a public performance of the creative work that has been revealed in the workshop. It is designed to be offered on a once-a-year basis.
