Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center

In February 2020, Spruce Peak Arts will present Ice Dance International to bring professional skaters to Stowe, VT. To maximize opportunities to engage the community, this week-long residency will include: collaboration with the town-owned Stowe Arena to offer a master class and open rehearsals; collaboration with town public schools to connect students with the performers as audience and in mini-lessons at school and on ice; and a film screening, Q&A, and reception with the performers on the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center stage. The week will culminate with a public performance of the world premiere of new works by Cindy Stuart and Douglas Webster developed during IDI's winter tour.
