Buckman Performing Arts Center engages the Limón Dance Company in October 2016 for a residency, in celebration of the company's 70th Anniversary tour. The engagement includes an evening performance with audience discussion of Limón's work and current company; a master class for advanced area dancers at the University of Memphis; a lecture/demonstration for at-risk Shelby County students proceeded by a study guide; and a screening of "Limón: A Life Beyond Words" free to the public.
