Step Afrika! will make final adjustments to Drumfolk during a three-week Production Residency at the Publick Playhouse in nearby Maryland.
This residency will allow us to enter the tour much more prepared. It will also enable us to practice transferring the work from one theater to another, which will occur throughout the tour.
The three weeks in a theater provided by the Publick is absolutely critical to the building of Drumfolk and will support a successful premiere.
