“A Light in the Dark” is a partnership of four New England performing arts centers with a strong interest in the accessibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities. “A Light in the Dark, the Story of Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan,” a new ballet created for Thodos Dance Chicago by dance icon Ann Reinking and Melissa Thodos, will be presented by each partner. Each partner will also provide sensory based Thodos company outreach activities and performance attendance support for persons with sight and/or hearing impairments.
