Strand Theatre

The Strand Theatre will present Castle of Our Skins, a concert and educational series dedicated to celebrating Black artistry through music. As part of their Education Program, this engagement will include: a series of 5-6 educational videos to share with local music students highlighting movements and histories of unsung and celebrated Black figures, a pre-concert live-stream engagement with the artists to bring context to and answer questions about the work, and a 45-60 minute "edu-tainment" concert geared towards a family audience. All activities will be presented virtually, unless conditions allow for in-person activities to resume safely with regards to the global pandemic.
