Strathmore will present PHILADANCO!, on tour in celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary. The performance will take place in the Concert Hall at The Music Center at Strathmore and will include a 24-minute new work by BaKari Lindsay, a Black Canadian choreographer. Drawing upon his Caribbean and African heritage, Lindsay emphasizes physical storytelling and the individual qualities that each of the dancers brings to the project, which will be set to Malian kora music.
