Carpetbag Theatre’s original play Speed Killed My Cousin's narrative revolves around the return of a young, female African-American soldier from the Iraq War, and follows her struggle with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as she attempts to reintegrate into the civilian world. The performance will be accompanied by a week-long residency with stakeholder groups and a media installation that incorporates the stories of local veterans.
