TeCo Theatrical Productions, Inc.

As part of our 2014/2015 theatre series, TeCo Theatrical Productions, Inc. will partner with Southern Methodist University Meadows School of the Arts to present The Clothesline Muse, a multi-disciplinary work that examines the role of the clothesline in African-American culture. The performance will take place April 2 - 4, 2015 at the Bishop Arts Theatre in Dallas, TX.. It is also the desire of both collaborating partners to offer a week-long residency at area schools and provide students with a history lesson about the 1881 Washerwomen Strike. Through music, dance and visual art, The Clothesline Muse honors the traditions that emerged out of the act of washing and hanging clothes.
