Texas Performing Arts (TPA) will partner with the Fusebox Festival and the University of Texas Department of Theater and Dance to commission and present the world premiere livestreams of a digital adaptation of Charles O. Anderson/dance theater X’s (Re)current Unrest. The three-week production residency will take place in TPA’s flagship venue, Bass Concert Hall, and involve dance theater X company members, University of Texas student artists, and guest collaborators working under strict Covid-19 safety protocols. This filmed version of the work will be livestreamed from TPA on October 16-17, 2020 and then be available for digital presentation in other communities around the country.
