A presentation of the Groovalottos will expand the Tomaquag Museum's partnership with the Rhythm & Roots Festival now in its 21st year. Along with having an elder leading the opening ceremony, storytelling, art workshops, and artist tent, a Native-led band will be on the roster at the festival for the first time. Mwailim will present an artist workshop sharing his experiences to festival participants including children, families, elders, disabled and Indigenous people. The Museum builds partnerships to expand Indigenous exposure and cultural tourism through museum & Indigenous Empowerment Network.
