Maria Schneider will connect with the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Fine Arts Center communities on multiple levels, as a composer, jazz artist, business woman, and music advocate. During her residency she will work with high school jazz ensembles as part of a day-long festival, conduct master classes at the college and high school level and engage our audiences in a discussion of music advocacy, digital rights and fan-funding.
