URBANO Project

This funding will support Urbano’s restructuring and re-imaging in the face of the pandemic and the critical issues brought to the forefront by this crisis. We will transition to new and nomadic modes of virtual art education, public interventions, and cultural dissemination. We will bring together a team of artists, educators, designers, scholars, and youth to co-design and pilot a programming framework focusing on the intersection of social, racial, cultural, economic, and ecological inequities. We are envisioning a new future for Urbano to make more radical projects that represent the values and visions of change, truth, and reconciliation for our local community, country, and our planet.
