URBANO Project

Urbano’s unique perspective stems from its close relationship between professional artists and youth, where mentorship, job and life skills training, and confidence-building are at their core. This funding will support our programming, where artists in residence work alongside youth artists to create civically engaged art. This year our theme is Democracy as a tool for youth empowerment. Your support will enable Urbano to continue its critical work of providing arts and leadership training for youth in a safe and supportive environment (in-person or online), while supporting our artists in residence to increase their financial stability and therefore their ability to continue their work.
