UtahPresents’ artists explore complex sustainability issues through a creative lens. We focus on bringing artistic perspectives outside of the dominant environmentalist spheres to Salt Lake City. UtahPresents will facilitate a residency with Dancing Earth around their work “Between Underground and Skyworld,” which blends intertribal perspectives on sustainability and renewable energy. The residency will consist of a public performance, as well as 5 associated community engagement events with K-12 schools, University of Utah students and faculty, as well as members of the indigenous community.
