Velocity Dance Center

Velocity will present Four performances of BOYS IN TROUBLE, which unpacks masculinity with unflinching honesty, from unapologetically trans and queer perspectives. The work is beautiful, urgent and timely -- especially as America grapples with toxic masculinity, the trans revolution, the #metoo movement and renewed attacks on LGBTQ rights. Velocity will also host a public panel, focusing on trans-activism in the arts leading up to the performances. Velocity and Sean Dorsey Dance will also offer a "Dance your story" and "trans + ally beginner dance class. These events will be offered in partnership with Three Dollar Bill Cinema.
