Velocity Dance Center

Coming off of a successful theater presentation of slowdanger’s SUPERCELL in March, Velocity plans to present one further opportunity for our community to engage with slowdanger and this work. We plan to host slowdanger for an intensive workshop and creation process to make an outdoor adaptation of the work, titled SUPERCELL: water womb, as a part of our Seattle Festival of Dance + Improvisation. This engagement will include six intensive rehearsals, one workshop, and one outdoor performance presented in Seattle’s iconic Freeway Park in partnership with the Freeway Park Association.
