The center will present multiple engagement activities and a public performance of En Garde Productions’ BASETRACK: a multimedia theatre piece illuminating the diverse perspectives of Marine veterans of the War in Afghanistan and their families. The production’s tapestry of true-to-life stories, original contemporary music, and photos snapped by journalists who shadowed the First Battalion, Eighth Marines sheds light on the lived realities of those who continue to serve in combat in the most prolonged war in US history.
