This fall, the Wende Museum is pleased to be opening the Glorya Kaufman Cultural Center, a first-of-its-kind 7,500 sq/ft mixed-use space dedicated to the arts, education, outreach, and networking. As part of its grand opening season, the Wende will be hosting Benjamin Levy and LEVYdance in an intensive artistic research residency providing Levy access to rehearsal space, time and resources for uninterrupted creative inquiry. Rob Bailis, Artistic And Executive Director of BroadStage will be serving as artistic mentor and liaison to the larger Los Angeles dance community. The Wende will host a free showing of the research after the residency. The residency will take place between September 16th and October 6th with a public showing tentatively scheduled for October 5th or 6th.
