Wesleyan University Center for the Arts

Wesleyan University's Center for the Arts will present four performances of Ocean Filibuster on May 4, 5, and 6, 2023 in the CFA Theater, located in Middletown CT. In conjunction with the performance, the Wesleyan Theater Department will produce a student-led interactive performance in the Theater Studio (a black box space accessible to audiences from the CFA Theater) which will be performed during intermission. In addition, eight Wesleyan students will rehearse with director, Katie Pearl, and perform the ensemble parts in Ocean Filibuster. The CFA and Pearldamour will engage with local environmental and community groups in Middletown and greater Middlesex County to connect local environmental activism and policy to the performance, including having local groups contribute interactive displays during intermission which audiences can engage with.
