WCCMA will engage the grammy-winning Villalobos Brothers as artists in residence for a rich program of culture and creation. The artists will offer 2 performances, including one around Dia de Muertos, and musician/visual artist Alberto Villalobos will complete and install 2 murals in the newly renovated and opened Claremont Creative Center. The project will include workshops for the general public and musicians around composition, songwriting, creative process and influences, and storytelling. This will be a part of a larger WCCMA's composition and improvisation programs that will feature artists from many genres, cultures, and perspectives, and we will be partnering with Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park on additional programs that feature new musical creations.
