White Bird

On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, White Bird will present Ronald K. Brown/EVIDENCE (RKBE) for a single ticketed performance at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, a 2,776-seat venue in downtown Portland, OR. RKBE will perform a mixed-repertory program, to include "The Equality of Night and Day" and other works choreographed by Brown TBD. The White Bird first presented Caleb Teicher’s smaller company in Fall 2019, as part of White Bird’s Uncaged Series, and is thrilled to continue to support Teicher’s exceptional choreographic talent by presenting Swing Out. In addition to the evening performance on February 15, White Bird is engaging the company for a community engagement event within the 3-day period (February 13-16, 2023) that the company will be in residency: local community leaders of color, along with RKBE company artists, will lead an open forum on the themes that undergird "The Equality of Night and Day".
