The Wilson Center will offer a six-day residency with Invertigo Dance Theatre, exploring storytelling through movement and culminating in a free community partner performance and a public ticketed performance. The specific repertory piece that will be performed is "Formulae and Fairy Tales" which explores the life of Alan Turing, the mathematical genius and World War II codebreaker who was criminally prosecuted after the war for being gay. The residency will feature outreach activities, workshops/master classes with college and university students, multi-day residency programming with high school and middle school students, and audience and artists Eat & Greet Post-Show Q&A.
