This project supports the creation of a position at The Wooster Group for a Technical Director who, as a full-time member of the company's ensemble, will collaborate in all phases of developing, performing, and touring a new production, which will premiere at Bard College SummerScape Festival in July 2017 and tour to REDCAT in Los Angeles in 2018, among other venues. The project extends and consolidates the capacity created by NEFA's 2012 NTP grant to the Group, which enabled the Group to hire a dedicated Technical Director, creating greater efficiency and thus reducing the Group's touring costs while enhancing the artistic scope of the production.
