The premiere on January 13, 2024 culminates 4 years and 5 fully-funded Works & Process residencies spanning 2021-2024 in partnership with Bethany Arts Community and the Catskill Mountain Foundation to support the creation of this work. Iterative performances have taken place presented by Works & Process at the Guggenheim, SummerStage, Lincoln Center, Hudson Valley Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow, the National Gallery of Art, Kennedy Center, and Arts Brookfield. The fee outlined represents just the final Works & Process residency Jan 3-10 leading into a preview at Lincoln Center on Jan 12 and premiere at the Guggenheim on Jan 13 as part of the Works & Process Underground Uptown Dance Festival. Every project included in the Works & Process Underground Uptown Dance Festival has been supported with Works & Process commissioning and/or residency support and fee transparency. Where residencies are at $1,050 per week per artists, and performance fees are $400.
