On the heels of a three-week creative residency in summer 2018, Joanna Kotze returns to The Yard with her newest evening-length work, 'What will we be like when we get there'. Together with visual artist Jonathan Allen, multidisciplinary composer Ryan Seaton, and Bessie Award-winning performer Omagbitse Omagbemi, Kotze has created an electric composition of movement, sound, and visual art that resonates with the social and political time we are living in now. Two performances and accompanying community engagement will take place over the course of a one-week performance residency, as part of the 2019 YARD ARTS Summer Season.
