Minneapolis based and grounded in African diasporic perspectives, Brownbody blends modern dance, theater, social justice, and figure skating. The Yard will present their new work, "Tracing Sacred Steps," on August 12, 2022 at the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard Ice Arena in Oak Bluffs, MA. Brownbody will offer a facilitated post-performance discussion and, on August 13, a workshop called "The Wisdom of Being with the Body."
