Youngstown State University Cliffe College of Creative Arts and Communication

The Youngstown State University (YSU) Cliffe College of Creative Arts and Communication will be hosting the Dance Theatre of Harlem during their 50th Anniversary in February of 2020 as part of the Pipino Performing Arts Series. When in Youngstown, they will host a master class at Ballet Western Reserve and two performances at the DeYor Performing Arts Center. These performances are important to the arts and cultural heritage of the Youngstown area that is entwined with ballet. The importance of African American story, performers, and values will better serve the entire Youngstown community, which historically has not accurately represented the entire community in local arts and culture.
