About NDP Community Engagement Fund Grants

CEF grants are awarded to approximately five NDP Production Grant recipients each year based on the following priorities:

1. Engage in strong community and social engagement practices, but need additional resources to cover the true costs of working extensively in a new community while on tour; and/or
2. Demonstrate commitment to developing a community engagement practice with their project and whose work requires additional on-site time in a community.

Process & Deadlines

Each Production grantee receives an orientation with NEFA staff; projects that align with the priorities of this pilot initiative are invited to apply.

Community Engagement Funds are awarded annually.
