Biography

Lori N. Jones, (she/her) serves as Director of Programming and Operations for the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University located in the traditional lands of the Paugussett people, Fairfield, CT. Since 2013, Lori has worked with the Quick team to build a nationally recognized performing arts center with a focus in building new programs that support artist residencies and creation and making high-caliber arts experiences available to all. Previously she worked with NC State Live as the Community Engagement Coordinator at North Carolina State University (NCSU) and as the Director of Performances & Community Development at the American Dance Festival (ADF). She received her B.A. in Arts Applications with a concentration in Music from North Carolina State University. In 2021, Lori served as faculty for the Regional Dance Development Initiative, RDDI: New England Now. She has been on a number of artist selection and granting panels and was honored to be a member of the 2018 class of Fairfield County Business Journal’s 40 under Forty. Lori has served in numerous voluntary leadership positions locally and nationally including as a founding member of the Fairfield Emerging Leaders Organization as part of the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, the Arts Day Planning Committee for ARTS North Carolina, the North Carolina Dance Alliance Board of Directors, the NCSU Theatre Endowment Board, ADF’s Modern Scene committee, and as co-president for New England Presenters. She currently serves as the co-facilitator for the U.S. Presenters Working Group for the International Market for Contemporary Circus, as an at-large board member for nora chipaumire, and as an advisory board member for the Connecticut Dance Alliance.

Lori is also an independent consultant helping artists and presenters strategize their work and serves the ’62 Center for Theatre & Dance at Williams College and ali kenner brodsky + co.
