Micah Ariel James is the Associate Director of Education and Community Engagement at Hancher Auditorium, a multidisciplinary performing arts presenter committed to connecting artists and audiences with transformational artistic experiences. She develops and facilitates arts programming with an eye toward helping artists discover new approaches to creating meaningful engagement with campus and community partners, and to making the arts more accessible to all audiences. Micah is also a theatremaker and teaching artist. She received an MFA in Theatre Arts (Playwriting) from the University of Iowa and a BA in Playwriting from Columbia College Chicago.
