CreativeGround is out and about this fall and will be making an appearance in each of the six New England states to get the word out about NEFA and CreativeGround. From exhibiting at conferences, to doing one-on-one workshops with users, to presenting at creative economy summits, we’re staying very busy. Check out where we’ll be this fall – will you be there?

Southern New England American Planning Association Conference
September 24-25, 2015
Hartford, CT
The creative sector plays a big role in regional planning. We will be attending this conference to learn what initiatives are at work in Southern New England and informing attendees about how CreativeGround can help planners, community stakeholders, and city officials connect with their creative sector.

Northern New England Chapter American Planning Conference
October 1-2, 2015
Portland, ME
As in Hartford, we’ll be hopping up to Maine to network with more planners, getting the word out about the value of the creative sector, and using CreativeGround in community planning processes.

The Challenge of Change: Are We Loving Portland to Death?
October 3, 2015
Portland, ME
We’ll be joining some important discussions about the growth and change in the creative economy in Portland, Maine, and connecting with some peers for potential future collaborations.

Martha’s Vineyard Workshops
October 19-20, 2015
Martha’s Vineyard
We’re heading off of the mainland to celebrate the Vineyard’s “Fall for the Arts” festival by offering office hours and participating in a creative economy speaker series. More information coming soon.

New England Library Association Conference
October 26-27, 2015
Manchester, NH
Come visit us at table #407 as we give library administrators a glimpse into CreativeGround. All New England libraries have CreativeGround profiles. We’ll be showing them how to update their own profile as well as using CreativeGround to connect with performing artists for library programming and more.

Nashua Office Hours Workshop
October 27, 2015
Nashua, NH
We’ll be working with small groups of users to help them create or update their profiles. This setting allows us to walk through the profile process with individuals, assisting with each step along the way. We love getting to know artists and organization administrators in this setting. Stay tuned for more information.

Vermont Creative Network Summit
November 4-5, 2015
Montpelier, VT
This inaugural summit will bring together the many diverse voices of Vermont’s creative sector: practitioners, educators, administrators, advocates, business owners, and volunteers. We’ll be engaging in workshops and panels, introducing people to CreativeGround and talking about the creative economy.

New England Museum Association Conference
November 4-6, 2015
Portland, ME
There are 2,552 museums and historical societies listed in CreativeGround. We’ll be stopping by NEMA to talk to museum participants about how and why to update their CreativeGround profile as well as grant opportunities to present performing artists.

Idea Swap
November 10, 2015
Worcester, MA
The Idea Swap is NEFA’s annual event for New England-based nonprofit cultural organizations to network and share project ideas that may qualify for funding from NEFA’s Expeditions grant program. We’ll be there helping presenters and artists update their profiles, and showing them how to use it to search for others.

Rhode Island Office Hours
We enjoyed our latest road trip to Providence and Newport to do office hours with the great arts community down there. Don’t worry, we’ll be back in Rhode Island this spring.
