Are you an individual performing artist or performing group? Here’s an introduction to a few resource organizations that NEFA grantees, both regionally and nationally, frequently use.

Fractured Atlas
Fractured Atlas is a valuable resource for individual artists or unincorporated performing groups across the country that are looking for fiscal sponsorship in order to apply for grants or receive tax-deductable donations. For those looking to crowdfund, Fractured Atlas has a partnership with crowdfunding website indiegogo.com. Fractured Atlas also provides other services such as insurance, continuing education, ticketing software, and visa consultation. 

The Field
The Field’s Sponsored Artist Program offers NYC-based artists an affordable and accessible fiscal sponsorship option in order to apply for grants or receive tax-deductible donations. They also offer artistic residencies and workshops.

NYFA Source
A program of the New York Foundation for the Arts, NYFA Source is a national directory of awards, services, and publications for artists. 

Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts
VLA organizations provide pro-bono or low cost legal services, education, and information for artists and members of the arts community in their regional area. 

There are individual organizations and websites for each state or regional area. Many times they are run through local Arts & Business Councils. Here are a few examples:
