Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival will host Ragamala Dance Company in their 25th anniversary season. The company will give six performances of "Written in Water" in the Doris Duke Theatre. This engagement will be a celebration of both the company and the Bharatanatyam dance style. Ragamala's ability to honor this 2000 year old dance form while addressing modern themes and concerns is incredibly accessible and exciting for both regular dance patrons and new audiences. Jacob's Pillow will conduct extensive outreach to the Berkshires community to bring in a diverse audience for this company's run.
