John Michael Kohler Arts Center will host a residency with CONTRA-TIEMPO from November 11-17, 2019 that will include the company learning more about Sheboygan through meetings, workshops, informances, lecture, dance party, informal gatherings, and a final full-evening performance of "joyUS". This new participatory Urban Latin Dance Theater work takes on joy as a revolutionary practice. In this experience, CONTRA-TIEMPO will create spaces of joy and healing, allowing “us” to feel connected, powerful, and alive.
