Savannah Music Festival (SMF) comprises a 17-day centerpiece event each spring (March 28 – April 13, 2019) with more than 90 ticketed and free musical productions; a free, year-round local music education program for K-2 students; two tuition-free young musician mentorship programs for high school jazz and big bands and pre-professional string players; artistic lectures and a nationally broadcast radio series. SMF plans to present Union Tanguera and Kate Weare Company during SMF’s 2019 festival. The performance will be held on April 11, 2019 at one of Savannah’s premiere performance venues, The Lucas Theatre for the Arts, which seats 1,200 people.
