ODC Theater will present a 3-performance run of "Long Run", Tere O’Connor Dance, in fall/winter 2019. In "Long Run", polyrhythms, velocity, and duration foreground form and the emotional content of O’Connor’s movement style, bringing forth a poetic and open-ended experience. Additional residency activities will include a shared practice master class for Bay Area choreographers and dance artists, a pre-show salon talk and a preview performance during dress rehearsal for dance ambassadors and influencers. ODC Writer in Residence Marie Tollon will also document and disseminate written contextual notes and responses to the company’s visit at ODC Theater on the ODC Dance Stories platform.
