Jazz Residency Initiative

Mark Shilansky will be performing in a jazz quartet as part of the 2018 Capstone Concert in Fryeburg, Maine. Kim Nazarian will be the featured artist for a three day artist-in-residency hosted by Fryeburg Academy, a public high school in Fryeburg, Maine. Mr. Shilansky will serve as her accompanist. After three days of teaching, the students will join Ms. Nazarian on stage to open the Capstone Concert. The majority of the concert will be comprised of a professional jazz combo featuring three New England artists playing with Ms. Nazarian. Specifically, CreativeGround listed artists John Hunter (Bassist), Les Harris Jr (Drummer) and Mark Shilansky (Pianist) will complete the quartet.
